Black Box was created by musicians for musicians. We put every ounce of ourselves into creating a place where bands and recording artists can feel comfortable and inspired to create. Our practice rooms were designed to make you feel at home (at a clean, safe home).  Not just some place where you keep your equipment, but where you come to make your ideas come to life.  Our recording studio is designed to even further that ideal.  With state of the art gear and musical, production and engineering, you will get the results you want and then some. As much as we love the "tech" side of things, our focus here is the music.

Black Box is located in lovely Golden Hill @ 2469 Broadway (rear entrance behind 7-11) We are surrounded by top notch mexican eateries such as Los Reyes and Humberto's, and are 2 blocks away from the delicious, Turf Supper Club as well as Krakatoa coffee house and Luigi's Pizzeria. We go out of our way to help our out of town clients with lodging, transportation and entertainment.
